TRAVERSES

To the appeal of Voyage à Nantes, for whom Aurélien Bory realized his first plastic intervention at the Théâtre Graslin, Spectacula, last year, the artist returns to Nantes and seizes a city piece with Traverses, long-lasting work in the public place.

Imagined as part of the refitting of the boulevard Léon-Bureau on the island of Nantes, Traverses is an urbanistic intervention coproduced by the Société d’aménagement de la métropole ouest-Atlantique (Samoa).

FOCUS

A NEW DIKE

The City of Toulouse granted its confidence to Aurélien Bory for the prefiguration of a place of creation in the former Théâtre de la Digue.

“This decision answers a desire that I am nourishing for a long time : implant myself in Toulouse and invent a new place of creation. It is so carried by a big enthusiasm as I undertake in this prefiguration during approximately eighteen months…”
