The line represents the last topic of our trilogy about space. After volume (IJK) and the plan (Plan B), we extract another dimension from the playing space and reduce it to the line. In mathematics, the line goes from “- infinity” to “+ infinity”. That’s why we chose the title Plus ou moins l’infini (More or Less, Infinity). It refers to the rules of limits, and, in a literal meaning set the action at the intersection of the human and the absolute. A line drawn freehand will inspire the theatrical form: both the perfection and the approximation of its stroke. To define the human action this way: to want strongly and to manage nearly. The line has something powerful and fragile at the same time. |
